Nothing to post

Yesterday I was going to post about how I think the pope spoke to me directly through my web-streamed NPR program and told me I shouldn't bother with confirmation.
I was going to discuss how I had entertained the notion of going to see a priest and see if my personal, and now long-rooted, views on spiritualism would conflict with furthering my involvement in the Catholic Church.
I was going to tell everyone not ten minutes after that thought entered my head from nothingness I then heard the pope describe my views pretty accurately and then say those people or views don't belong in the church.
I was going to tell everyone about that, but I couldn't find the report on the NPR site to site it. So, typing out how I am contemplating that Buddhist temple down the road a bit more seriously doesn't really matter anymore, because I can't find that damned story on the station's site.
Then I was going to digress and mention the thoughtful remarks our glorious president made to pontiff after his words on the south lawn of the White House.
So, after that all didn't turn out, I was going to talk about what I'm getting from the media back home. But, then I stumbled about this video that sums it up for me quite nicely:

Might I add, the debate was TERRIBLE!

So what you are saying is the Pope thinks people like you don't belogn in the church?

I went to the big Catholic Church on W. Cross as one of the churches for my project. They offer these "classes" for anyone to take. If you change your mind and want to go, I'll go with you. Just an idea.

Change my mind? You mean accept that I am wrong and that Catholicism is righteous, infallible and perfect? Okay, if I do that I'll go to catechism.

Whatever religion you decide to get involved with is your concern (as it always has been). The important concept to keep in mind is that you must respect the beliefs of others as long as those beliefs do not espouse hatred or call for the death or imprisonment of non-believers.
If you do decide to join the Catholic Church, you are not accepting you are wrong in any way or that the church is perfect. The only one who is perfect is God/Jesus/Holy Spirit.

I also want to say that I was appalled at the comments Bill Mahr made concerning the pope and Catholicism in general. The man should really be taken off the air.

I did not see or hear about the comments Bill had made. I'll catch myself up. Keep two things in mind though...
1. He already has been taken off the air.
2. That show was called "Politically Incorrect."
3. All speech is protected by the first amendment.

I didn't see your comment before that one. I agree, and that is my main problem with Catholicism. It believes in its own dogma too much. I won't be signing up to any other religions, but this is a question I've been dealing with that I think will be culminating soon.

I just saw his comments. Over the top. Not very grounded.
Based in reality.
I was offended, but he is a comedian.

People wouldn't be so up in arms about Bill Maher if there weren't a kernel of truth in the statement.

Then again, I am an uncivilized heathen.
